A cancellation must be made in writing  by email.
Refunds will be calculated as follows:

4 or more weeks notice =loss of deposit ( booking can be moved to another available date if requested ) 
2 – 4 weeks notice = 25% refund
Less than 2 weeks notice = 0% refund

If a booking is cancelled by us we will notify you and offer a full refund or try re-arrange dates. There will be no other liabilities on Dordogne Cycling for the cancellation other than the repayment of monies received.

YES. All persons are required to have travel insurance in order to cover the cost of any cancellation by you and the cost of medical assistance in the event of accident or illness. Cycling must be included in the cover. If you do not take out an insurance policy, Dordogne Cycling will not be responsible for any matters arising as a result. You will be responsible for reimbursing us for any sums we may incur on your behalf as a result. You must provide details of the Insurance policy(ies) for all members of your party (insurer and policy number) on or before the Balance is due. We strongly advise that you carry a European Health Insurance Cards (EHIC)

YES. We can cater for a number of dietary needs but we recommend you make contact with us before making a booking to discuss.

YES. We are able to arrange hire of hybrid or electric bikes for the duration of your stay. Please let us know with your booking request. Please note this service is at an additional cost to you.

NO. This is your holiday and you can let us know if you would like to take a day off to relax by the pool or explore the area.

Our nearest airport is Bergerac servicing many UK airports, it is a 1 hour drive, 42 miles away.

Limoges is 1hr 40 min , 64 miles and Bordeaux is 1hr 45 min , 90 miles.

If driving here you can catch ferries to Le Havre which is a 6 hour drive, 356 miles and Ferry and Euro Tunnel to Calais which is 7.5hrs drive , 490 miles.

The nearest train station is Angoulême a 45 min drive where you can get trains direct from Paris.

Terms and Conditions

Bookings and Payments

Booking confirmations are sent via email once the contact form has been received. By booking with us, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

A deposit of £175 per person is due to secure the booking. The balance is due four weeks prior to arrival. We will send you a reminder when the balance is due along with a secure payment link if paying by card. If payments are not made in time, you will have a maximum of seven days to make all payments due. If you fail to pay on time, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you.

Our holidays are priced in sterling. You can pay by bank transfer or alternatively you can pay by card through our secure payment provider. A link will be sent to you once the booking form has been received. Payments may also be made in Euros to our French bank account. We will calculate the exchange rate on booking due date and let you know the amount to be paid in euros. Any fee that the bank may charge on receipt of your payments will be charged to you. 

Once the payment has been received, we will send you a booking confirmation by email.

Cancellations and changes

A cancellation must be made in writing—either by email or posted letter.
Refunds will be calculated as follows:

If we cancel a booking, we will notify you and offer a full refund or try to re-arrange dates. Dordogne Cycling will have no other obligations for the cancellation other than the repayment of monies received.

Changes by you: You must notify us as soon as possible of any changes to your booking. We will do our utmost to accommodate any changes, but we cannot guarantee we will be able to meet your requests.

Insurances

Everyone is required to have travel insurance to cover the cost of any cancellations and medical assistance in the event of an accident or illness. Cycling must be covered under the policy. Liability

Dordogne Cycling cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your personal property, luggage, or other possessions, or for any other loss, damage, inconvenience, delay, illness, death, or other injury suffered by you as a result of making a booking with us.

Data protection

Dordogne Cycling will only use your personal information to contact you about your booking and payments. We will only contact you via email about any offers we have. We will request your permission for this upon your departure. We never pass on our clients’ details to other companies. Any credit or debit card details will only be held by our payment provider, Stripe. Dordorgne Cycling has no access to this informtion.

Swimming Pool

Guests can use the swimming pool at their own risk. We have a pool alarm in place that complies with French Law. 

Please note should the French Government implement water or environmental restrictions due to drought or other natural events  we accept no liability should the swimming pool have to be closed.

Your conduct

We expect our clients to behave in a suitable manner so as not to cause upset, distress, or danger to any other guests. Any client behaving in an unacceptable manner in accordance with these terms and conditions will be asked to leave the property and their vacation will be cancelled. No refunds or further travel arrangements will be made and Dordogne Cycling will not be liable for any expenses caused as a result of the termination.

Smoking is not permitted in the houses. Ashtrays are provided for use outside.
